Good news for users of the cell phone networks Togocom and Moov Africa.
Indeed, the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Posts (ARCEP), in accordance with Article 36 of the Electronic Communications Act (LCE), has begun consultations with consumers and operators to implement mobile number portability in Togo.
“The portability will offer the possibility to the consumer to change operator, while keeping his number in his original operator, in case of dissatisfaction on the quality of service and / or to benefit from better offers and rates available in the competitor, “says ARCEP.
“In this sense, it is a real competitive lever to boost the market,” she says.
The Regulatory Authority is launching a public consultation with the aim of explaining to the public the advantages of mobile number portability and the conditions for its implementation in Togo.
This public consultation will be carried out by ARCEP among mobile telephony consumers in our country through the following channels
– Outbound call campaigns

– USSD channel: *800#
This public consultation ends on October 31, 2021.
