Implementation of Rufisque’s Food Plan
The overall objective of this project is to contribute to the implementation of a sustainable food
policy in the city of Rufisque by;
- Improving access to healthy food and enhancing local production
- Supporting the structuring of the agri-food processing sector
- Establishing a coordinated governance of food systems.
AMOPAR was created in partnership with the GRDR, the County Council of Rufisque and with
financial support from the French Development Agency.
The main objective is to strengthen the UHC (Universal health coverage) observatories, a citizen-led social responsibility mechanism. CICODEV will intensify its social mobilization activities and monitor the UHC’s effectiveness, generate information and facts to incite the government to prioritize resource mobilization and public spending on health. Last but not least, CICODEV will advocate for the effective use of resources for greater equality in citizens' access to health care.

The general objective is to strengthen the involvement of civil society in improving the effectiveness and impact of social protection policies in Senegal.
The general objective is supported by two specific objectives which are to:
- Generate knowledge on the challenges of Social Protection;
- Improve the involvement of civil society in strengthening social protection policies.
