Sonatel and Ministry of Health and Social Action sign partnership to improve communication about health services in Senegal
On 12 May 2014, Mme Awa Marie Coll Seck, Senegalese Minister of Health and Social Action, and M Alioune Ndiaye, CEO of Sonatel, signed a framework partnership agreement to improve ways of communicating information about health services in Senegal, particularly in terms of raising public awareness, preventing the risk of disease and managing emergencies.
UNDP and the French Embassy in Dakar have produced a short animation explaining the importance of filing taxes on time and complying with the procedures of the Senegalese government. The film conveys the importance of taxes in terms of serving the country’s people and it depicts, in simple terms, the improvements made when public budgets are available and properly managed.
